I definitely recommend listening to the audio version, especially if your internal editor is often quite loud. :) While I've never recorded any of my work, I often read it aloud when I finish a passage. Reading my work aloud allows me to perceive the work differently, catch the spots where the words don't flow correctly. Lovely, informative article.
